Site information / Privacy

Privacy,
plainly.

This portfolio is designed to collect as little personal information as possible. This page explains what may be processed when you visit or get in touch.

Who is responsible

Farabi Shayor is responsible for this portfolio website and for personal information sent directly through its published contact address. Privacy questions can be sent to fs@farabi.co.uk.

Information processed

The public website does not provide public user accounts, payments or a marketing mailing list. If you email, the information you choose to send is used to read and respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to take steps you request before working together.

Like most websites, the hosting infrastructure may process limited technical request information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as an IP address, request time, browser information and the page requested.

Cookies and analytics

No public behavioural advertising or public visitor-analytics integration is configured on this site. The owner-only Content Studio may use an essential, secure session cookie after authentication. Because the public experience does not intentionally set non-essential cookies, a consent banner is not shown.

If non-essential analytics or marketing cookies are introduced later, this notice and the consent controls must be updated before they are enabled.

Why and how long

Enquiry information is handled where it is necessary to respond, take requested pre-contract steps, administer working relationships or pursue the legitimate interest of maintaining professional correspondence. Information is kept only for as long as it remains necessary for those purposes or for applicable legal and record-keeping requirements.

Services and external content

Hosting and email providers process limited information to provide their services. Some pages link to third-party publications, retailers, social platforms or media. Those services have their own privacy practices. Embedded YouTube media uses the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain where the site supplies an embed.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to receive certain information in a portable form. You can raise a request by email. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
